Developed by Smith & Wesson in the 1960s, following an export ban by the Swedish on the M/45 sub-machine gun, AKA the Swedish K, which had become popular with U.S. Navy Seals and other operators in the Vietnam theater. Fixed post front and peep rear sights, with a perforated barrel heat shield, open bolt operation, 30 round stick magazine, "SW76/ #717" on the right side of the magazine well, 3-position selector, 2 markings for J.R. Stemple of Groveport, Ohio on the right rear of the extension, checkered grip and a rubber covered metal folding stock. With shipping box. NOTE: This is a fully transferable NFA Class III Firearm currently on a Form 4. You are required to check your state and/or local laws as to whether or not you may own this.
