Full-stocked Kentucky style percussion rifle, approx. 50 cal., 42” octagon barrel marked “J.H.F. 67”, single trigger, tiger striped checkered wrist wood stock with brass trigger guard, patchbox, butt plate and ramrod ferrules. Thisgun has pleasing delicate lines and is in overall good condition showing a dark brown patina on metal surfaces, missing upper rear tang screw; action needs adjustment, engraved patchbox, small raised carving on the top of the wrist withcheckering and carving around the rear-most ramrod ferrule; old repair to the wrist on the right side around the lock plate.
