Full stock percussion plains type rifle, .52 cal., 44” octagon barrel, lock plate marked “Golcher”, unmarked barrel, double set trigger, wood stock, wood ramrod. This gun is in overall good condition showing a greypatina on metal surfaces overall with moderate old pitting around the firing areas, dark bore, action is not staying on cock and the set trigger is not working; brass trigger guard, ramrod ferrules and buttplate; heart inlay at wrist and half moon on left side of butt stock; accompanied by an unmarked belt knife in well worn condition approx. 11” overall with an approx. 7” blade and two old powder horns, one with a leatherhanging strap and iron bead decoration at the base while the other has an old rope hanger (approx. 10” and approx. 8” overall respectively). A really rustic looking ensemble that would display nicely over afireplace or in the gunroom. With notarized affidavit stating that this Kentucky and artifacts (powder horn, knife, etc) have been in family's possession since the Civil War. The original owners were named Henningsens
