Leader of Cuba (1901–1973) who was in office from 1940 to 1944 and from 1952 to 1959, at which time he was overthrown by Fidel Castro. DS, in Spanish, one page, 9 x 13.25, June 25, 1952. Untranslated two-article document, signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by Batista. In very good condition, with paper loss to left edge, punch and staple holes to left side, a horizontal fold, and uniform toning. The blue seal is worn and mostly intact, and retains its blue ribbon.
