<B>Ft. Custer Trading Post Letter of Payment For Sharp's Rifles.</B></I> One page, on Borup & Company letterhead, 5.75 x 9, Ft. Custer, Montana, dated July 20, 1878, to the Sharp's Rifle Company, in fine condition. The letter reads in full: <I>Herewith find check for Invoice March 7th for $530.00. Excuse delay but the writer has been away & as the rifles were not to be shipped till last of April did not make provision for their payment. Should we not have a larger discount - could get same discount from any dealer & surely they make something.
