Frossard, Ed. CATALOGUE OF AMERICAN AND FOREIGN COINS AND MEDALS, A FINE SET OF UNITED STATES CENTS, INCLUDING MANY VARIETIES OF THE EARLIER DATES... New York: Bangs, Nov. 25, 1882. 8vo, original printed wraps. 39, (1) pages; 603 lots; 3 heliotype plates. Printed on thick paper. Front wrap, first plate and title page somewhat stained, with plate fully useable but discolored in part. Front wrap reattached with archival tape. Very good or so. Frossard's 25th sale included some important medals and early large cents, the latter of which dominate the first plate, while the other two are mostly devoted to European silver and coins of the Americas. While not a fine copy, the sale is rarely offered with plates. Adams 25, rated B for large cents, medals and comments, and B+ overall; Davis 404.
