<B>1884 G$1 MS66 PCGS.</B></I> The 5,230-business strike mintage is relatively available in the Mint State grades. The Premium Gem that we present here exhibits gorgeous coruscating luster, and a delicate mix of peach and yellow-gold patination. The frosty design features are well impressed, and stand out against partially prooflike fields. A light alloy spot is visible to the right of the bowknot. Karl Stecher, Sr. purchased this piece for $7.00 from the Guttag Bros. of New York during the 1930s.
