<B>1889 50C MS65 PCGS.</B></I> Struck toward the end of the Seated series, the 1889 was still one of the low mintage issues that began in 1879. Only 12,711 pieces were struck. Gems are seldom seen with PCGS only having certified 19 with 11 finer (12/06). This fully struck piece has a rich overlay of sea-green and rose toning on each side. What is most striking, though, is the phenomenal mint frost that is fully visible even through the multiple layers of color.<BR><I>From The Collection of Louis E.
