Frank Sinatra was already a star before being cast as brash Private Maggio in this big screen adaptation of James Jones' popular novel. His performance would earn him a Best Supporting Actor Oscar in 1954, making him a marketable box office draw for years to come. This Australian poster for the film's original release has wear and tear along the edges, a crease in the top border, and minor foxing along the edges. Don't miss this one as it is prettier than the U.S. paper.
