French style center hammer flintlock pocket pistol circa early 19th century, unmarked, with Belgian proof on left side of breech. The pistol measures 6 ½” overall with 2” barrel of screw type in approximately .45caliber smoothbore. The metal surfaces show a lightly cleaned gray patina and the spring on the frizen is weak and the hammer cocks but does not release perfectly. The stocks are good with some minor dings, mars andnormal use. The metal surfaces show some slight pitting, erosion and some marks from using barrel wrench to remove BBL. The hammer screws and small parts are original. Est.: $150-$300
