French made Satanic dagger of ceremonial size showing cast-iron hilt with double fuller, dagger style blade, with median ridge. The dagger measures 27-1/4” overall with 21-1/4” blade. Lightly etched with scrolls within fullers on both sides. Dark patina, good condition. Hilt shows Spanish conquistador (soldier) embraced by skeleton, with skull and snake crossguard. The biggest of its type we’ve seen, circa mid to late 19th century. Good detail. Hugh Hayes Collection. Est: $600 - $1,200
