French Heavy Dragoon sword and metal scabbard, approx. 46” overall and approx. 39-1/2” fluted blade marked on the top rib of the sword at the hilt “Manuf re R w Ju Klingenthal x bre 1814”. This very collectible early Napoleonic FirstEmpire sword is in overall very good condition with a beautiful blade, brass hand guard with rich patina, leather wrapped grip with wire trim; scabbard is overall very good with some scattered spots of erosion and pin prick pitting; bothhanging rings retained.
