<td width="100%">
Large oval chalk plaque of a mythological goddess from the early 1900's France was probably originally framed in a rectangular 16 X 20 frame with oval cutout. Could easily be reframed in such mode or displayed as she appears currently. Made as a replica of the porcelain plaque of the goddess which was unveiled at the C.1889 Paris Exposition. Wonderful antique cream to tan in the raised motif on the front with the whiter more rough finish to the back. Stunning accent. Excellent condition with one tiny notch out of the chalk at bottom back,does not show from front. No cracks,chips or nicks. Measures 11L X 14H X 1.75D.
