This interesting piece is now a French cabinet. It has been converted from an antique French lit clos frontage. It is made of mixed woods-Walnut and Chestnut.

A "lit-close" was a multi-functioning piece of furniture used in old France. It would serve as the armoire, bed, cabinet, and trunk. The bed would be enclosed by the sliding door, making sleeping a bit more comfortable and private in the old stone rooms. Today, it would be perfect for a big screen TV or library...
