<B>Fredericton, NB- The Central Bank of New Brunswick</B></I> £1 Oct. 1, 1857 Ch. # 95-10-10-04<BR> This bank was established in 1834 and was successfully operated for more than twenty years before falling victim to adverse business conditions in 1866. Even after it failed, all of the creditors were paid in full, with enough left over for a final dividend to its shareholders. All signed and issued notes from this institution are quite rare, with this example one of the very few extant from a two year issue. Charlton lists no prices for this entire issue in grades higher than Fine. Nice <B>Fine,</B></I> a true Canadian rarity. <BR><I>From The Thomas M.
