Very nice autograph letter signed ''Frederick Remington,'' where the American artist asks publisher Alexander Belford for the return of illustrations. Dated 22 November [1896], letter reads, ''Some time since I wrote requesting the return of the illustrations for Miles books which were not returned with the two sent recently. What is the occasion of this omission?'' 4.25” x 7” letter lightly soiled in upper right margin. Mounted on a piece of buckskin, affixed to a 10.5'' x 13.5'' mat, and framed to 14.5'' x 17.5''. Very good condition.
