Frederick Remington (1861-1909) Bronze. "Coming Through The Rye" was Remington's first effort in using more than two horses and was his largest piece to date. To Remington this scene represented a joyful experience of cowboy and horse having completed a strenuous cattle drive of weeks on the trail. The four men and horses have taken on with reckless abandon and are rollicking in the freedom from daily chores.. Stamped RCS 232/375. 25 X 26 X 24 inches.
