<B>Frederick Church Autograph Letter Signed with Drawings Included.</B></I> Signed: <I>Your Unknown Friend,</B></I> four pages, 5.25" x 6.5", np, nd. Church, an American artist and illustrator, was known for his paintings of birds and animals, who he endowed with humorous humanlike attributes. In this letter Church writes: "<I>Theres an Green Eyes Wolves celebrated for ferocious appetites. Your home is in danger of being Burglarized by a man with a ferocious appetite. He don't want your Gold, Silver or your Jewels all he wants is a Loaf of Oatmeal Bread. Take Warning. Your Unknown Friend.</B></I>". On page 1 Church has drawn a pack of green eyed wolves and on page 4 there is a drawing of a burglar with a mask, hat, and flashlight. In fine condition; some of the drawings have smudged; usual folds are present; mounting traces on verso; small stain on last page in the lower right corner.
