For your consideration are two Remington American Indian horse riders brilliantly done in bronze and they sit on beautiful green marble in great condition. The pieces are Cheyenne and Buffalo Signal, which are well known pieces famous for their western scenery. These pieces are made by Frederic Remington, an American painter, illustrator, sculptor and writer who specialized in depictions of the American Old West. A member of the second generation of Hudson River School artists, Remington's works are known for depicting the Western United States in the last quarter of the 19th-century, featuring such images as cowboys, American Indians, and the United States Cavalry. Both of these statues are 3.5” long and 2” wide though Cheyenne stands at 4” tall and Buffalo Signal is 7” tall.
