Featured in this lot is this Fred Harvey Navajo Native American sterling silver bracelet from the late 19th century. Fred Harvey era jewelry is generally a lightweight jewelry that was made for sale to the Anglo tourists along the Santa Fe railroad lines, in hotels and retail shops run primarily by the Fred Harvey Company. Fred Harvey era jewelry is widely collected and sought after. It is easy to wear and generally has a fair amount of ornamentation and stamping. This piece was made early in Fred's life, around the 1890-1900's. It features a heavily stamped design and repousse features in the middle of the cuff. The condition of this bracelet is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this bracelet are 1 3/4" x 2 3/8" x 1/2" and the circumference of the bracelet is 4 1/8". The collective weight of the bracelet is 15g.
