This is an ephemera collection from the Frawley Ranch near Deadwood, South Dakota. Patrick Henry Frawley was a successful lawyer in the Deadwood, South Dakota area who established the Frawley Ranch in the 1890's. He amassed vast real estate holdings by buying up unsuccessful farms and mining claims. By 1913, his investments totaled nearly 5000 acres. The ranch was operated by family until the late 1900's when it ws sold to developers. This collection includes family letters, receipts, telegraph messages, agriculture booklets, business cards, etc. The collection is in good overall condition.
