This letter of condolence to Mr. and Mrs. O.R. Buckroyd, Fort Dodge, Iowa, reads "<I>My heart goes out to you in the loss which you sustained in the death of your devoted son, and I desire to record my own sorrow which has been laid so heavily upon you. Although words are feeble in the face of bereavement such as yours, I do want to send you for myself and for Mrs. Roosevelt an assurance of sincere sympathy</B></I> ".
