The book comes with the publisher's original orange promotional band that reads "This is no mere collection of political addresses, but a major presentation of the new President's theories of government …The Program For The New Deal." Included is a card with the state seal, "The State of New York Executive Mansion, Albany", and signed "Franklin D. Roosevelt". The card is mounted on a fly page. The dust jacket is in very good condition with some chipping at the bottom of the spine. The boards have some light staining at the top and a tiny tear at the top of the spine. The previous owner's name is on first free endpaper.
