Honoring two great philosophers of freedom, each sulphide is signed and dated 1974, and has six and one facets. Diameter 2 15/16" each. (2) George Washington and Marquis de Lafayette pair of sulphide paperweights. The cameo of Washington, on blue ground, is signed and dated 1974. The Lafayette sulphide, with garnet-colored ground, is signed and dated 1975. Both have six and one facets. Diameter 2 15/16" each. (3) John Paul Jones and Admiral de Grasse pair of sulphide paperweights. Honoring two naval heroes, each sulphide is signed and dated 1975, and has six and one facets. Diameter 2 15/16" each. (4) Benjamin Franklin and King Louis XVI pair of sulphide paperweights. The cameo of Franklin is centered on blue ground, while the French monarch's sulphide rests on garnet-colored ground. Both are signed and dated 1975, and have six and one facets. Diameter 2 15/16" each. (5) John Adams and Baron de Montesquieu pair of sulphide paperweights. A likeness of Adams rests on blue ground, and de Montesquieu's cameo is centered on garnet-colored ground. Each piece has six and one facets, and is signed and dated 1975. Diameter 2 15/16" each. Items will be shipped to domestic buyers via FedEx two-day air unless otherwise specified by the buyer, and to overseas buyers by airmail.

We will combine shipping if possible for multiple wins by one bidder. <BR><p>Lots delivered in the State of California are subject to all applicable state, county and local taxes.
<BR><p><b>Advance Bidding Options: </b>
<BR><p>Advance bidders are bound by L. H. Selman Ltd. general auction terms and conditions posted for the auction for which the bids are placed. Advance bids will be done as if the bidder is present.
