In full: “That was a most heart-warming letter you wrote me and I should have thanked you for it before this. It took me back to the exciting days in San Francisco and held a promise of more to come, in Washington. If by any chance I do go there to live I hope that we may have an opportunity to talk things over. Meanwhile I appreciate both your expression of support and the enthusiasm with which it was worded.” In very good condition, with mild creasing and wrinkling, small dings to the left and right edges, paperclip impressions to top left, and mild toning.
