TLS as president, one page, 7 x 9, White House letterhead, May 14, 1938. Letter to Albert Grossman. In full: “I have not had a chance before this to thank you for your letter of April seventeenth, and I remember also our previous correspondence and the work which you did for the Party and the State in the old days. I hope that you will talk with Mr. Farley some day when he is in New York.” In very good condition, with small separations along horizontal fold, scattered light toning and soiling, and rusty paperclip marks to top edge.
