Roper, Attorney General Homer Stille Cummings, Secretary of War George H. Dern and Henry Hines Woodring, Postmaster General James H. Farley, Ambassador to the United Kingdom Joseph P. Kennedy, Ambassador to Germany William C. Dodd, Supreme Court Justice Hugo Black, White House Press Secretary Stephen Early, Robert Fechner, Henry B. Steagall, Richard B. Russell, Robert M. La Follette, Thomas Pryor Gore, Walter F. George, John J. McSwain, Josephus Daniels, George W. Norris, Claude A. Swanson, Claude Pepper, Earle J.
