In part: “I found your nice letter and the two most interesting marine water colors on my return from Hyde Park, hence the delay in writing to thank you. I am thrilled to have them and they are a real addition to my collection.” In fine condition, with a bit of scattered light toning and soiling, and a rusty paperclip mark to top edge. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope. Hurja was a pioneer of political opinion polling, and an important person during Roosevelt's presidency in respect to social and economic reforms.
