TLS, one page, 7.25 x 8.75, State of New York Executive Chamber letterhead, April 13, 1932. Letter to William Fales, who asked FDR about how he intended to remedy the financial plight of the 'little man.' In part: "You ask so many questions that I cannot possibly answer them all on paper. I wish you would come up to Albany some day, as I should be very glad to talk over these economic problems with you." Double-matted and framed with Fales's retained carbon copy of his letter to FDR and a vintage glossy photo of his swearing-in to an overall size of 32.5 x 18.5. In very good to fine condition, with a stain to the top edge, and the type extremely faded yet still entirely readable.
