<B>Franklin D. Roosevelt Typed Letter Signed as Governor of New York</B></I> “<I>Franklin D. Roosevelt</B></I>”. One page, 8” x 11”, on Executive Mansion letterhead, Albany, August 12, 1932, to Mr. I. H. Myers, New York, with original mailing envelope. This letter, written shortly after Roosevelt's nomination for Democratic candidate for president acknowledges a letter of congratulations, stating he has read with real interest the "<I>letter from Dr. Hodgson of Kansas</B></I>” and knows he can count on the help of his correspondent to”<I>insure the success of the full Democratic Ticket</B></I>”. The letter from Dr. Hodgson is also included with Roosevelt's. This extremely interesting letter gives a report of the recent Democratic Convention with bitter condemnations of the Republican administration. Both letters with the usual fold creases, else near fine. <I>From the collection of Henry E.
