Franklin D Roosevelt Sr and Jr- Typed Letters Signed Here are two interesting letters showing both father and son in the midst of campaigning. The first letter, signed by Franklin D. Roosevelt as Governor of New York, is on Executive Chamber letterhead and dated March 10, 1932. It is to an Hon. John J. Murphy of Somerville, Massachusetts thanking the correspondent for a wire and stating "New Hampshire has done a grand job and it will have a far reaching effect." No doubt, this was in regards to Roosevelt's first campaign for the presidency. Fine condition save for folds and paper clip stain. The second item in this lot is a letter signed by Franklin D.
