Franklin D. Roosevelt document signed on the brink of the Presidency as Governor of New York. Opposite a seal on the first page, he signs ''Franklin D Roosevelt''. Dated 2 February 1931, the document provides for the extradition of a fugitive from Ohio back to New York. Signed page measuring 11'' x 18'' is partially printed and comes bound to 11 additional pages containing the typed text of the extradition for the fugitive, Ernest M. Hamborszky, as well as signatures of various officials. With State of New York Executive Chamber envelope. Creasing and wear to seal, else near fine.
