Actor (born 1934) best known for portraying the young son of Baron Frankenstein in Son of Frankenstein (1939) and for providing the voice of young Bambi in Bambi (1942); his career in showbiz ended at the age of 8, and he went on to become a major in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam, receiving a Bronze Star and three Purple Hearts throughout the course of his service. DS, eight pages, 8.5 x 11, December 23, 1939. As a five-year-old child actor, Dunagan agrees to employ Gus Dembline Inc. "as his agent in the motion picture industry…for a period of 1 year." Signed at the conclusion in fountain pen by the young actor, his parents, and the agent. In fine condition. Accompanied by a 1939 agreement regarding his employment by RKO Radio Pictures signed by his parents; and three 1938 court documents, two signed by Judge Ruben S. Schmidt, regarding his employment by RKO.
