About Frank Worth: Frank Worth (1923-2000) was an American photographer who befriended and photographed many legendary Hollywood actors and actresses between 1939 and 1964. Worth's personal relationships with these stars allowed him unique access to candid moments creating incredibly rare images. His official job was team photographer for the Los Angeles Dodgers but he was romantically linked with the likes of Marilyn Monroe and Jayne Mansfield which allowed him opportunity to capture images of his friends having fun. His collection, only discovered after his death, was called the greatest collection in 50 years by Christie's Auction House (London) and brought Frank Worth the acclaim he tried so hard to avoid during life.
