One of less than 3,000 small frame superposed pistols manufactured from 1868 to 1880. Second Type with the Wesson legend placed horizontally in one line along the barrel. It has a round hammer and the grips are numbered to the gun. Collectors sometimes refer to this highly desirable model as the "Wath Fob" Derringer.

Condition: Very fine. The pistol retains 80% original nickel finish with the balance a smooth gray patina on the barrel with the exposed brass having an untouched aged patina. The grips are very fine with a few minor handling marks and high edge wear. Mechanically fine.
