It's ten feet tall, made of stone, and it's down on Nazis big time! Formerly known as Jacob Goldstein, this huge and terrible creature is not just a Jewish legend, it's real and it's pissed off! The two Franks, penciler Frank Robbins and inker Frank Springer, turn out two pages featuring this towering giant in action. With his powerful stone fists and granite-like skin, the Golem is an unstoppable foe for the frightened Nazis, and on page 15, they find their firepower is a pointless display of Aryan aggression. Robbins delivers another great page featuring the death of the villain known as "The Face" on page 30, surrounded by a powerless Captain America, Bucky, and Sub-Mariner. Each page is 10.5" x 16" with a 10" x 15" image area. The art is clean and bright, with the exception of two pieces of tape at the top and bottom of each page, which was used in the pre-production process. <B>Estimate: $500-up</B> </FONT></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE><BR><!--<a name="PricesRealized"></a> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" bgcolor="#000000"> <tr> <td width="100%"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3"> <tr> <td width="100%" bgcolor="#79735C"> <a name="PR"> <font face="arial" size="3" color="#FFFFFF"> <b>Previous Prices from Heritage Auctions</b> </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#F6F6ED"> No Prior Data Recorded </td> </tr> <tr> <td bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> <font face="arial" size="1""> PLEASE NOTE: All prices realized reflect the final hammer price PLUS the buyer's premium in auctions that charge a buyer's premium.
