Frank Gehry Wiggle stool Easy Edges, Inc. USA, 1972 corrugated cardboard, masonite 14.25"w x 17"d x 15.75"h Frank Gehry has said that with his cardboard furnishings he set out to create "the Volkswagen of furniture." Designing with material that was cheap and easy to work with, the resulting furniture was durable and lightweight. Ironically, Gehry ceased production of the furniture fearing its commercial success would overshadow his architectural practice. The following group of Wiggle stools were originally purchased upon Gehry suggestion for use around his Easy Edges dining table and are consigned from the original owner. All absentee bids are confidential and will be executed competitively.
You may call or fax in absentee bids prior to the day of the sale. All

Phone bids may be arranged by calling the gallery prior to the
day of the sale. There are a limited number of phones lines so we encourage you to arrange phone bids early. All lots must be estimated over $500 to be on the phone.
