DS, six pages, 8.5 x 13, September 29, 1947. Agreement between Capra and Liberty Films outlining the attached exhibit regarding Capra’s financial arrangements with his film company, as well as accommodations while filming, an original plan for five pictures, and a $375,000 security deposit. Signed on the first page by Capra, and countersigned by vice president Samuel Briskin. A central horizontal fold and uniform light toning to signed page, otherwise fine condition. Liberty Films was an independent motion picture production company founded by Frank and Briskin in April 1945. It produced only two films, It's a Wonderful Life, and the film version of the hit play State of the Union. After experiencing financial difficulty after the release of It’s a Wonderful Life, Paramount Pictures bought the company in May 1947.
