<B>Scarce General Frank P. Blair Signed <I>Carte de Visite.</B></I></B></I> An important Union general, Blair went on to run unsuccessfully for the Vice Presidency on the Democratic ticket in 1868. CDV is C.D. Fredericks & Co., New York. His rank at that time, "<I>Maj. Genl Vols</B></I>", is written below his signature. Excellent appearance, with very trivial light spotting near the bottom, not affecting portrait area, and clipped corners as shown.
