Francotte Model 10, Damascus steel, double barrel shotgun in 12gauge with 2 ½” chambers and 30” barrels, serial number 22698. The barrels show considerable original finish drifting to gray with good patterning andjust light normal aging. The frame shows scroll engraving and traces of case hardening. The stocks show a select burl wood grain and the forend has worn from the area of the checkering. The butt stock is good.The stock measures 13 ¼” to the end of the wood and 14 ¼” to the end of a melted pad that needs replacing. The gun locks tight and the bores are good with some dirt look like they will clean. Est.: $1,000- 2,000.
