Francotte 410ga double-barrel boxlock shotgun model 11 prewar, serial number “83277”. The gun shows 26-1/8” barrels, auto ejectors, scroll engraved frame, checkered pistol grip stock, with horn buttplate. The gun weighs only 4.15lbs. And remains in very good plus to near fine condition with 90-95% original blue on barrels, some slight erosion and pitting just starting towards the forward of the muzzles on the left barrel, but generally crisp overall with approx. 70-80% thinning case hardening. The trigger guard shows 30-40% thinning original blue. The stocks show some slight dings, mars, scratches, but are still and at least very good plus overall with superb to metal fit. The barrel is engraved with “Von Lengerke & Detmold US Agents, New York” marking. The action is tight, the bores are near excellent. A desirable prewar small bore. Est.: $3,500-$7,000
