Important French writer (1935–2004) who attained international prominence with the publication of her first novel, Bonjour Tristesse, at the age of 18. Scarce personal calling card, 4.25 x 3.25, signed and inscribed on the front in black ballpoint, “To Marshall E. Bean, With my best wishes, Francoise Sagan.” Light creasing to the bottom left corner, a faint paper clip imprint along the left edge, and light haloing to the inscription and signature, otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by a photo of Sagan.
