22 1/2" by 28 1/2" framed. Francis H. Harlow [everybody knows him as Frank Harlow] is a physicist I the Theoretical Division of the Los Alamos National Laboratory. He received his Ph.D. degree in 1953 and has worked at Los Alamos continuously since that time. In addition to his achievements in science, he has an international reputation as a specialist in Pueblo ceramics. A research associate at the School of American Research [now known as the School for Advanced Research] and the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, he studied extensively the stylistic evolution of historic Pueblo Indian pottery, about which he as written seven books and is in the process of writing several more. He is also an artist whose paintings have been included in collections in many countries.
