ALS, one page, 4.5 x 7, black-bordered Massachusetts Avenue letterhead, no date. In a letter to a friend, Burnett writes, in full: “If my name will be of use to you, I give you permission to use it with pleasure.” In fine condition, with a faint paperclip impression towards the top left edge. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Burnett’s hand.
