<Our item number 131901><B>France. Louis XV period Silver Bowl dated 1725.</B> A decorated bowl 5 1/4&#34; in diameter, 4&#34; high, and 7&#34; handle to handle, these of classical half length female forms. The bowl bottom inset with a French Ecu coin of Louis XIV of the Bayonne Mint. The bowl weighs 13.4 oz. Solid silver conforming to French standards of the early 18th century. Along the upper lip, three large old French hallmarks and engraved date and naming as &#34;J.B. Duc De Duras 1725&#34;.
