Framed original oil painting entitled “Courting Flight”, image size approx. 28” x 21-1/2” portraying two eagles in the sky in combat, signed in the lower center, “Jim Spain”, a prominent artist who showed locally in Western and Wildlife public events. His career began late in life at the age of 55 and he passed away in 1998 at the age of 77 before he could become Nationally recognized. Jim was raised on a ranch in California’s Owens Valley and had a life-long love of the outdoors and wildlife, but always considered himself an Orange County local. From the family’s collection.
