For your consideration is this framed original Remington advertising poster from 1957. The heading reads, "Whatever you shoot be sure it's a Remington", with two boxes of shotgun shells. Artist Robert Kuhn (1920-2007) painted a father and son with their dog hunting pheasant in a field. The dog is "pointing" and focused on a pheasant that has just gotten up; the dad is about to shoot the pheasant but has just turned his attention to his son who is excitedly pointing out a fleeing jackrabbit. This advertisement has been more recently reproduced on tin with printed in "distress" marks. Where reproductions have"Established 1816" right under "Remington", the original only has the Du Pont logo under "Remington". The framed poster measures 19 3/8" x 23 5/8". It is in very good condition.
