California Fractional Gold 1872 Indian Head. Octagonal Half Dollar. BG-939. High Rarity-6. PCGS graded Mint State 64. <b>Full mint brilliance. Prooflike surfaces. Sharply struck at the centers, though finer features of the wreath lack sharp definition. The maker is unknown, though most researchers credit Herman J. Brand for the large Indian head motif.
