Fr. TN-14a Hessler X83C $10 March 25, 1815 "Act of February 24, 1815" Treasury Note Fine. This plate letter F note has nice edges for the grade as only one tear penetrates the frame line. Overall, the note has been evenly handled and it is a nice representative of the notes from this era. Almost all of the notes of the War of 1812 issue are signed remainders and this note is no exception as it carries two of the three signatures needed to be put into circulation. The countersignature line of the Register of the Treasury is blank. Hessler has assigned a rarity of R-6, 13 - 30 known for this note. This is an important foundation note for starting a collection of these intriguing notes from the Second War of American Independence.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
