<B>Fr. 962a $20 1914 Red Seal Federal Reserve Note PMG Extremely Fine 40 EPQ.</B></I> Remaining consistent only in inconsistency, this note is a 962a to PMG but a 962 elsewhere, as there is no 962b. To this cataloger, PMG has it right. In these Red Seals, the "a" or "b" is needed whether or not only one of them were produced. Nineteen examples are known, with this piece bringing that total to twenty. The three serial numbers consecutive to this note are known, and this note now makes four consecutive pieces. As no "b" type was produced, the now twenty known 962a's represent the only Dallas Twenty Dollar Red Seals. This note, which has garnered PMG's "Exceptional Paper Quality," has perfect color and the look of a Choice New example. In September of 2007 we sold a CGA 40 for $8050.
